Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing Angas Travel Pty Ltd for your journey.

By visiting Angas Travel P/L in person or accessing the Angas Travel website, you are accepting the following terms and conditions.

Please read the terms and conditions carefully as they comprise the contractual terms and conditions of Angas Travel Pty Ltd.

Angas Travel P/L sells travel products provided by travel product providers and in doing so Angas Travel acts as the agent of those travel product providers and may receive a commission from them for selling their travel products to you. As the agent for the travel product provider Angas Travel incurs no liability on the transaction entered between you and the travel product provider. Accordingly, your legal recourse (if any) is against the actual travel product provider and not Angas Travel. Therefore, if for any reason, any travel product provider does not provide you with the travel product that you contracted with them to receive, then your remedy lies against that travel product provider and not with Angas Travel.

Angas Travel, as your travel agent, provides certain services to you such as arranging your relevant travel requirements, with your authority and on your behalf such as ticketing, issuing of vouchers, receipts and booking accommodation for you.

Passports and Visas

Please supply a copy of the photo page (bio page) of your passport to your Angas Travel Consultant as early as possible in the booking process.

You will be denied boarding International Flights and Cruises if your passport is not valid or if you do not have the applicable visas to depart and re-enter Australia or other overseas territories applicable to your trip. It is also important that your reservations are made under the same name as that of your valid passport. Fees apply with most travel service providers for name changes. Angas Travel can assist you with the processing of your Visas for a nominal fee (please ask us for the current schedule of fees).

Passport, visa, and vaccination requirements are your responsibility and Angas Travel is not liable for any loss or expense due to your failure to comply with the requirements of countries visited or transited.

You will find helpful information on applying for or renewing an Australian passport at www.passports.gov.au.

Many countries now require that you apply for an e-visa online for a fee (e.g., USA, Canada, India, Turkey). Please contact Angas Travel for clarification and advise us of all destinations you will visit on your journey.

Please have these discussions with your consultant as early as possible in the planning process. Having the correct documents for your journey remains your responsibility.

Travel Insurance

Angas Travel highly recommends that you have an appropriate cover of Travel Insurance every time you travel. Travel insurance is strongly recommended by the Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade for all overseas travel.  Should you not purchase Travel Insurance through this agency, you will be required to sign a disclaimer. Travel insurance will generally not provide cover for travel to any country that our government has imposed “do not travel” advice.

Special Requests & Frequent Traveller information

Please advise your travel consultant of any airline frequent flyer memberships, loyalty programs (hotel, car, cruise) and specific requirements you may have for your travel arrangements such as special meal, seating request, room type or disabled access.

Special service requests with airlines can also be advised directly with the airline being used. Please ask your consultant for your airline booking reference and check before travel.

Please check your frequent flyer program or other applicable loyalty program for the specific terms of your membership. Angas Travel accepts no responsibility for frequent flyer points not being registered and highly recommends that you retain copies of your air ticket/s and boarding passes to claim retroactively if necessary.

Travel Advice & Health Requirements

 DFAT www.smartraveller.gov.au

Travel Advice

We recommend that you visit the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (D.F.A.T.) website for general travel advice, health requirements and safety alert levels relating to the destination you wish to visit.

Smart Traveller recommends travellers subscribe to the Australian government travel advice email subscription service; this is a free service for all Australians. Subscribe as soon as you start planning your trip as then when things change, you will know promptly. Not just updates to your main destination but also to include places you are travelling or transiting through.

Health Advice

Health Alerts are issued by many countries. Always consult with your local doctor, travel medical service or specialist vaccination clinic before commencing your travel for any vaccination requirements. In some cases, failure to present required vaccination documentation (e.g., proof of Yellow Fever vaccination or COVID-19 vaccination) may deny you departure from, or entry into, a country.

With the changes to travel due to Covid-19, it is vital to discuss your entire travel itinerary with your consultant. It remains your responsibility to have all necessary health certificates and vaccinations relevant to your travels. Failure to present required documentation may deny you entry into a country & even departure from Australia. General health advice for the destination you wish to visit is available from DFAT at dfat.gov.au or www.smarttraveller.gov.au.  Please discuss travel protocols with your consultant.

Deposits & Final Payments
