Mediterranean Centre for French Studies   (Centre Méditerranéen d’Etudes Françaises)

ATA/PCI is proud to be associated with the well trusted Centre Méditerranéen (CMEF), a non profit making organisation that complements the State Education system with its 50 years of experience in international youth exchange programmes.

ATA/PCI is the Australian representative of one of the most exciting and picturesque French language schools in Europe. Set in the hills about 1km from Monte Carlo, the CMEF offers live-in courses for both secondary and tertiary level language learning.

For more than 20 years ATA/PCI has been organising language learning tours for Australian and New Zealand school groups and in recent years for under-graduates of the University of South Australia as well. The accommodation is excellent, the meals are terrific and the evening social programs and the many excursions to various parts of the Côte d’Azur ensure that the time spent at the CMEF greatly improves language learning skills and gives students a better understanding of French culture.

Some school and university groups spend all their time in France at the CMEF and then come straight back to Australia. Others stay there for part of their time in Europe and then make their way to Paris via famous places like Avignon and Aix-en-Provence.

Visit the CMEF blog at their website which highlight videos of recent groups stays there – most interesting for our Australian travellers is the Prince Alfred College / Wilderness School video (as attached here).  It provides a wonderful insight of the fun excursions and varied learning experiences that the students encounter during their stay at the CMEF.
